Check out some photos from the Easter Egg Hunt this year! Now that the Easter Bunny’s visit has become a yearly tradition, many neighbours look forward to the day they can enjoy a lovely autumn stroll on the street as all the children run around looking for chocolate.

To prepare for the hunt, young people had gone up and down the street, knocking on people’s doors to personally invite them to join the event. A family with grown-up kids was surprised to be invited, and had been unsure about attending. However, on the day, they hid Easter eggs on their lawn and waited for the group to reach their house. They smiled widely as they watched all the kids excitedly running and playing outside their home. They later shared with Living Streets that they felt so happy to interact and share their space with their neighbours.
This kind of street tradition is easy to upkeep, helps people connect with their neighbours, and is a joyous gathering for everyone.
